Don the Window Cleaner

Endowed with common sense and reasonable prices

Don the Window Cleaner

We are doing fine.

As I wait for Irma to dawdle up to our part of the state, I thought I’d remind you all that we are in a pretty good place. Yes, some people will lose power temporarily, but that happens during a good thunderstorm around here. Fortunately, I live in a place where all the power lines are buried, so I will probably be minimally inconvenienced.

The few days leading up to the storm, I actually had a good bit of window cleaning work. I anticipate that normal business will resume as soon as this thing is over. That is because my customers know that the rain does not make the windows dirty. It only makes already dirty windows look worse. I’ve always been amazed at the silly people who tell me, “I’m just going to let the rain wash them.” That is the sound of cheapness, not common sense.

So, when the sun comes out, and you can see how dirty your windows are, call me! In the meantime, here is the GRU power outage map to keep you informed and entertained!
