Don the Window Cleaner

Disciples, by Douglas Waller | A review

Disciples: The World War II Missions of the CIA Directors Who Fought for Wild Bill Donovan is a fascinating, if nerdy, history of the agency. I love history, especially World War 2, and this was stuffed with the personal details that make a story about an intelligence agency a good read. It is also revealing to see how much this business is a high stakes poker game in which you can seldom afford to discard.

I give it 3 1/2 stars.
