The Power of Broke | A review
The Power of Broke: How Empty Pockets, a Tight Budget, and a Hunger for Success Can Become Your Greatest Competitive Advantage, by Daymond John, is an ode to starting a business with little or no money. Beginning with his own life story, the author tells how having few resources can make you more resourceful and more creative. He also opens the door to Shark Tank’s behind the scenes rationale for the deals they make on the show. And he tells how the big players stay sharp by thinking like a poor person. This was a fun read, and I’ve enjoyed watching Shark Tank for years. I’ve always thought Daymond John was a wise investor and counselor to the people who come on the show. I give this 4 out of 5 stars.
